Handmade Curtains
Our curtains are made to measure and hand stitched throughout. Adding interlining to curtains provides a beautiful full bodied luxurious look. We can also add blackout lining for bedrooms.
Curtains can be finished with any choice of heading including French pleat, double pinch pleat, goblet pleat, cartridge or pencil pleat.
French Pleat or Triple Pinch Pleat
The French Pleat is a popular traditional heading made up of three pleats grouped together. It is perfect for long, floor length curtains as they hang beautifully and stack back well.
Double Pinch Pleat
This heading style comprises two pleats grouped together and creates a beautiful relaxed style that stacks back well.
Goblet Pleat
Goblet Pleats create the perfect heading for long floor-length curtains and add a touch of opulence to any room.
Cartridge Pleat
This is a modern take on the goblet pleat. It creates a lovely uniform full pleat shape which leads down into the body of the curtain.
Pencil Pleat
The pencil pleat heading creates a classic looking curtain. Folds of fabric are gathered tightly to create closely packed pleats that resemble a line of pencils. This style of heading is machine-sewn rather than traditional hand-sewn.
